Submitted to Family planning is the process of when to have children, process of using birth control and other techniques to implement such plans. Here in the Philippines, family planning is not so common that’s why most of us are suffering poverty. In my research you will know everything about family planning especially on why family planning is very important.
Family planning is sometimes used as a synonym for the use of birth control, however, it often includes a wide variety of methods, and practices that are not birth control. It is most usually applied to a female-male couple who wish to limit the number of children they have and/or to control the timing of pregnancy (also known as spacing children). Family planning may encompass sterilization, as well as abortion.
When we say sterilization it is the process where a person is unable to reproduce a cell in order for them not to have a child, but when we say abortion it is the termination of pregnancy by the removal or expulsion from the uterus of a fetus or embryo prior to viability, abortion is very common to us and it is not new in our ears, of course abortion is far different from sterilization but they have similarities in their goal in which they are the same in a process of not to have a child or a baby.
Family planning also includes birth control in which also states that when we say birth control it is the method of contraception and fertility control, refers in preventing pregnancy. Family planning is provision of birth control. Effective birth control methods include barriers such as condoms, diaphragms, and the contraceptive sponge; hormonal contraception including oral pills, patches, vaginal rings, and injectable contraceptives; and intrauterine devices (IUDs). These are the things that can prevent pregnancy or also known as contraceptives.
Sterilization by means such as vasectomy and tubal ligation is permanent contraception, these are permanent contraception which means that if an individual is already vasectomized he can’t bear a child anymore just the same method in tubal ligation. Family planning services are defined as “educational, comprehensive medical or social activities which enable individuals, including minors, to determine freely the number and spacing of their children and to select the means by which this may be achieved
