For the purposed of our assignment, we have selected
two countries, which is Malaysia and China. Malaysia is located in Southeast
Asia with 13 states overall. It is divide into two part, which is Peninsular
Malaysia or West Malaysia and East Malaysia. Peninsular Malaysia comprises of
11 states, while East Malaysia consist of Sabah and Sarawak, together they made
up 13 states. There are three Federal Territory namely, Kuala Lumpur as the
capital of Malaysia, Putrajaya as the Federal Government Administrative Centre,
and Labuan as a “tax-free’ island which located off the coast of Sabah.
Malaysia is a multi-racial country, with about 31 million people and there are
three major races in this country, which is Malay, Chinese and Indian. However,
they are any other ethnic including Orang Asli (Indigenous people). The
official language of Malaysia is Bahasa Melayu, but there are many other
languages and dialects used in this country including English. Islam is the
official religion of Malaysia. For Malaysian currency, monetary transactions conducted
in Ringgit Malaysia (RM or MYR) and sen. According to Malaysia External Trade
Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysia major export products for the year
2017 was electrical and electronic products, followed by petroleum products.
While major import products was electrical & electronic products, followed
by chemicals products.

 China, officially known as People’s Republic
of China (PRC) is located in East Asia, the world’s largest population. It is
the third largest country in the world, next to Canada and Russia. The capital
city of China is Beijing with a population around 13.8 million. China has 34
provincial-level administrative units, which is 23 provinces, 4 municipalities
(Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing), 5 autonomous regions (Guangxi, Inner
Mongolia, Tibet, Ningxia, Xinjiang) and 2 special administrative regions (Hong
Kong, Macau). With a population around 1.35 billion people, 93% of them are Han
Chinese. With those large populations, there are variety of religions including
Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism and other Christian religions. China has
international borders with 14 sovereign states. The official language of the China
is Mandarin, but still there are many other languages used, including
Putonghua, Min, Cantonese, Hakka, Xiang and more. For Chinese currency, monetary
transactions conducted in Renminbi (RMB), which is also known as Chinese Yuan
(CNY). China major exports products was computers, followed by broadcasting
equipment. While its major import was electronic products, followed by crude
petroleum products.
