Letter of Intent
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with a wide range of experience in all areas of sanitation, inspection, reporting, quality assurance and problem resolution. A proactive individual with a logical approach to challenges, I am seeking to utilize my experience and education in the field of Preventative Medicine at the commissioned officer level. For this reason, I was excited to learn about a vacancy of an Environmental Science Officer, and would be pleased to offer my services for the said post.
I completed Masters in Health Sciences specializing in Public Health with a 3.83 CGPA. The Masters’ program not only provided me a chance to demonstrate effective scholarly writing and presentation, but also an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in ethical and legal decision making. It helped develop my abilities to critically evaluate research findings and distinguish various theories and their applications in specific areas of health sciences. Besides educational experience, I expertise in inspection of food prepared for human consumption, subsistence quality assurance inspections in food handling establishments, sanitary inspections in military and commercial facilities, and laboratory testing of edible items.
Much of my experience and education are transferable specifically in the areas of leadership and support. Given an opportunity am confident of my proficiency, solid educational background and professional approach to provide a highly productive officer to the Medical Service Corps.
