One night while Miles and Alaska were drinking Alaska storms off and gets in her car and leaves while crying over he boyfriend. Alaska ends up getting into a fatal car accident and dies, something that would make Miles question forever. There are multiple characters but the stop rye focuses on Miles, Alaska, and Chip (the Colonel). The characters are very credible, they give you suspense throughout the whole story. Miles, is a wallpapered character, he changes throughout the novel, he went from being antisocial to pulling prank s on schoolmates.
The characters got into trouble for pulling pranks on the Week ay Warriors, and eventually later on in the book Miles and Chip go through deep session from Alaskan death. My favorite character would be Alaska because she’s so open about her life and makes you feel sympathy for her. The mood Of the novel ranges as the e story is Del valley 2 told and as conflicts arise, one moment it can go from cheerful to depressing. Theme of this novel would be self discovery, every character goes through a time where they question their identity and figure something out about themselves. In the novel, I can relate myself to Miles and Alaska.
I can relate to Miles because in the “before” section of the book he has no friends, he’s antisocial, and is a lonely person. During my first two years in high school I was very antisocial, had no friends at all. Used to go sit outside my teachers classroom and eat lunch be cause I had no one to each lunch with and it was hard to make friends because of my social anxiety. Alaska and I relate in a way because she’s been through some hard tit mess in her life and done things she’s definitely not proud of. I have experienced a De tat of a relative, my aunt died in a fatal car accident, so Miles and I have something in mono.
He lost his best friend and I lost my aunt, both in a car accident. Liked the book a lot, it pulled me in with everything that was happening throughout the story. It also touched on my feelings, with Alaska dying and in the beginning with Miles being the way he was. My favorite part in Looking for Alaska was at the end, when Budge finds out that Attack let Alaska go and how it isn’t jus t Fudge’s fault, he realizes that no single person could have saved her and budge come s to terms with that. If could change anything it would be the details on Alaskan and Mil s relationship and how they felt about each other. Loud recommend this book to another person, it made me feel an entirely different way about life. It made me not want to take life for granted and to AC accomplish everything you want to do in life, because anything could happen.
