Systems of equations can be solved by graphing or by using
substitution or elimination. What are the pros and cons of each method? Which method do you
like best? Why? What circumstances would cause you to use a different method?
It is good for easy calculation as one can easily spot the solution
It may result in error if not done properly, since it will not be good if hand is used it requires some software to make it accurate.
It is also good for comparison
It is sometimes difficult to get the exact answer of some graphical equation as most answer will be approximated.
When dealing with 2 or 3 equations it is very effective
It can be complicated by excess variables and equations
It is relatively faster when compare to graphing
It gives the exact answer without approximation
It is the fastest and simplex method to use
It can be miscalculated if one has not mastered it
It is the easiest
The best method that I love is elimination method because it is easier and faster and I make lesser mistakes. In some cases I might use substitution method in a situation whereby there is more that two equations and I cannot solve it using elimination.
Describe what the graph of interval [-4, 10] looks like.
Definitely, this type of graph will be a linear graph in which the -4 will be to the left while the +10 will be to the right
