He is all powerful and perfect in every way. He is an extreme God in the way He goes to the end of time and back for mankind’s salvation. God is omnipresent and omnipotent in every way possible. He is more incredible and more perfect than I will ever know how to describe or put into words. David is asking God to keep him clean in the spirit of the Lord. David also tells God he thank you for saving my a sinner like me and that God rated him and know when and before he was born or even thought to be conceived.
David in the passage is thankful for God and his amazing grace He showed to David. David is also thanking God for putting his name in the Lambs Book of Life, so David will have everlasting life in heaven with God. David also tells God he hates enemies of God with a perfect hate meaning he hates their actions not the person. The way this passage relates to current life is the way I am thankful for my lavational and thankful for God giving me everlasting life.
God has done many great and wonderful things in my life, He has given me many blessing in my life, first from being born into the world, giving me salvation by his holy grace and now giving me the opportunity to marry the girl of my dreams and His divine plan. I also do not hate anyone, but I do hate the actions of people that go against Gods word and wisdom. God has helped and guided me in directions I thought I would never go. He has eloped me with decisions I never thought I could make on my own.
God has been there for me when I needed it the most, and He has never left my side since I have trusted Him in my heart and soul as my Lord and Savior. Like David I will always trust God and keep him in my heart. I will also always be thankful for all He has given to me and His promise after death of everlasting life. Psalm 139 is a great passage and for me is another blessing in words of God’s love for his children. Psalm 139 By Cardinalities
