“Who Am I?” is a very vague question. When people are asked this question they usually are stuck, and do not know how to answer it. Many wonder for awhile, while some know right away. However, most have a difficult time. This is true because it takes a lifetime for some people to answer the difficult question “Who Am I?”.

Little things in life could help determine what type of person you are. You could be into dolls, cars, stuffed animals, action figures or even robots. As a child, I was always into the “girly” things. I loved to play with dolls and play dress up. I also liked to watch movies such as Cinderella, Rapunzel and Snow White. I enjoyed playing with my friends and having little tea parties. Therefore, all of the memories I have of my childhood, is what has made me the person I am today.

The role models in my life have influenced me greatly in becoming the person I am today. I have always had great people in my life to guide me and show me the difference between what is right and what it wrong. Some of these people include my mother, sister, aunts and uncles, my grandmother and my friends. These people have all guided me in the right direction and have all taught me so much.

Strengths and weaknesses. Likes and dislikes. Everyone has their own personal traits. Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a doctor. However, I was not sure what type of doctor I wanted to be. There were so many possibilities. One thing I was sure of, was that I liked science. I knew I was not a history or geography person, even thought I was good at those subjects. Another thing I was sure of was that I loved being around children and they also liked being around me. We all got along so well. So one day it all came together. I should become a Pediatrician, where I could be a doctor and be around children. This was a great feeling because now I knew what I wanted to do as a career for the rest of my life. Now all I had to do was set a goal for myself, be hard working and dedicated, and I could one day achieve my goal. Although there might be some obstacles in the way, I was not going to let anyone or anything stop me.

In conclusion, the ambiguous question “Who Am I?” is complicated and might take some people a lifetime to truly figure it out. Throughout my life so far, I have tried to know who I truly am. I have tried by remembering back to the sorts of things I liked as a child, the very influential role models I had in my life, and my future goals I have had for myself. All of these factors have made the difficult and vague question very easy for me. I know what my strengths and weaknesses are, and what I want to do as a career in the future. Even though I completely do not know exactly who I am, I feel that I am very close to figuring it out and as I grow older and more mature. I will fill in those missing pieces to the puzzle and one day I will solve the puzzle and question “Who Am I?”.
